So the Mommy saw this really super cool coupon where we could order a PawBox for a $5 test run.
When filling out the question thinger on dah website they have a special section noted "Dietary Notes"
Well we was ordering one for me and one for my friend Peppi who has Kidney failures so she is on a speshuls diets. For me mom said "grain free" since I have issues with those things.
You could also fill out the age, energy level, and size of your doggy..which we did.
Well we was all excited to get these boxes you see...but...not once we opened them!
The box contained:
-Lickety Stick
-Pet Tabs Vitamins
-Flosser Ball
-SlurpaBowl
-Tiny bone cookie
Same exact thing in BOTH boxes...WHAT?
Peppi is 6 pounds, old, not active....I am 60 pounds, a young whippersnapper, and very active..
The ball was to big for her, she couldn't eat..well anything that came in the box, and looked at the bowl like "you want me to eat off of paper?"
There was no ingrediant list for the bone so I could not eat this either, the ball was to small, and I pretty much just had fun shredding that bowl thing!
Mommy Note:
Honestly I am glad both boxes only cost me $10. I was not happy with any of the things packed.
Initially I had wanted to try a "Lickety Stick" but after reading a few reviews I decided against it. Most said they gave their dogs ouchy water poos!
Vitamins? Eh.. I am indifferent here. Peppi cannot have them and Mason gets a well balanced diet he doesn't need them.
Slurpabowl is a great idea...but Mason enjoys being crazy and compulsively licking his bowls like they'll vanish in two seconds. Once he figured out that the bowl rips...it was history!
I feel like I spent 5 minutes filling out that question section for nothing! They completely disregarded any info I put into it!

Well that sucks. You can bet we will not try them. Sorry you wasted your time and green papers.

Yup, our mom would be unhappy too!

What a bummer. If I were you, I would contact the company and tell them all of this. Let them know that the products were not able to be used, and they should have known so based on the survey that you spent your valuable time filling out. The ball being too small is a potential serious hazard for your dog, as it them ignoring your dietary restrictions. Frankly, you did not get what you were expecting and paid for, and are not happy with the service. I would ask either for a replacement box or your money back, even if it was just $10 for both. It was $10 for nothing useful.
ReplyDeleteWe love the idea of those boxes

Mommy says thanks for being honest. It is really helpful to know things like that so we don't do it also. I am sorry it didn't work out for you both.

Sorry Mason that it was not the box for you. You should complain. They might send you are proper replacement. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Very disappointing :(
ReplyDeleteDear Mason and Mommy,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear this was a BUST of an experiment. We just got an offer similar to that (but at no cost) and it has been a super duper success so far.
I guess you get a few lemons a long the way, tho.

What a bummer. Those boxes were a bust. That was $10 down the drain. Sorry guys. Well, ripping the bowl was probably fun.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
Oh that is such a disappointment! I supposed the only saving grace is that you didn't pay full price
ReplyDeleteYikes! We get BarkBox and so far they have been winners - although, they are pretty expensive. We've occasionally gotten something we don't like, but since it has been so rarely, we don't complain.
