New Dinn Dinn

Woof! I tried that Fresh Pet pet food and wowz! I ate dat stuff right down into my tummy (though I must admit I eat poo so what is my opinion worth?)!

Mommy says it was relatively inexpensive at $16 for a week supply (for my size doggies). It has no crap in it to make me have ouchie poos, ouchie tummies, or anything that will make me sick sick sick! It has GOOD things in it. Notice you do not see a single meal, by-product, or harsh grain that us doggies cannot digest! Mommy did however say it left a LOT to be desired in the smell department. I thought it smelled NOMMY, but mommy felt like she couldn't scrub that nasty smell off no matter how much soap she used. Maybe the chicken flavor will be different? We got dah turkey flavor.

Now it is supposed to be a balanced diet, but mom doesn't want to stop feeding meSOJOS because this is the first food that I don't have loose ouchie poos on! So she is going to finish this tube she is trying out and then decide what she wants to do from there.

See my new raised dog dishes?

That is another thing. What do you all think of raised dishes? Mommy has read a lot of controversial things about bloat, to much air in your stomach, etc etc. She did notice I did eat a little slower out of this and was not inhaling things like I neverz got any foodz! How meanie of my mommy to only feed me three times a day!!!

I also went to dis cool new place that is super close to our house (the other places are a half hour away ) called Doggy Day Care! Oh man did I have a ton of fun and mommy said I looked so much happier than normal! It is also only $20 a day! WAHOOO!!!

Mommy sure did spend loads of paper monies today on me! But I do not think I am spoiled, just well loved!!

  1. That food sounds mighty tasty!

Bloat is a scary thing! Unfortunately, nobody can seem to agree on it. Raised dishes prevent it, raised dishes cause it, phase of the moon, who the heck knows. Eating slower can only help you, I'm sure!

  6. Ma checked out that Sohos and wanted to know which one you eat not to have the runs. Right now I'm on prescription kibbles from the vetties, but she wants to try out somethin' that isn't full of grain. I checked out their website, and it looks like a good idea, and there is a store nearby that sells it. It would be great to find somethin' more natural, and if it worked for you, I would love to give it a shot!
I have a raised dish ~ but I don't use it....I dump my kibbles on the ground and inspect each and every one of them before I eat it....Ma really thinks I'm strange. But Ma had both an Irish terrier and another Airedale that used the raised bowls, and they seemed to work. They also have something called Brake-Fast dog food dishes that are suppose to slow down fast eaters:

I think you should be able to find them in any pet store now.
Oh, doggie day care sounds like a pawsome good time!
What's a boat-load of paper monies compared to a happy pooch??! Well worth it I say!

    Kisses,

    Ruby

  9. To Mason's Mom: Ruby's Mom: I got your message, and liked your facebook, don't be shocked, I don't really use Ruby's facebook page for much, I am lucky enough to keep up with the blog, let alone a facebook page! LOL

  11. I have raised dishes (I think most Greyhounds do) cos it puts a lot of strain on us tall guys bending down. Someone once told Mum it is meant to reduce flatulence... but no luck there! Deccy x

  13. Mason's MOm:
Mom was reading about bloat last night in Dog Fancy and it said to put their food either in a slow eater bowl, the kind with a raised hump in the middle or a cookie sheet where it is flat cos you want them to haveto work for their food, and not eat it so fast..it said the raised bowls were not good.
I myself gobble my food as fast as I can then venture on over to sam's and turders..thats why I have to eat out on the porch by myself!
